    Verdict

Not much form to work on and, as ever in this type of event, the market will provide further clues. Assoon has the best form of those to have raced and sets the standard for the newcomers such as Lawbound and Charlie's Angel while Tadzio has place claims. Gary Moore's charge ran a race full of promise when staying on strongly on his debut at Market Rasen last month, only to be denied by the narrowest of margins behind a useful yardstick and should prove hard to beat with the experience behind him. Tadzio stepped up on his debut effort when a close fifth at Ludlow in May and can't be ruled out while Philip Hobbs introduces a likely type in the shape of Lawbound, who makes plenty of appeal on breeding and it would be no surprise if the son of Topanoora proved good enough at the first time of asking in a race that should take little winning.
