Verdict

There is little hurdles form for backers to go on here and what can only be a tentative vote goes to Nicky Henderson's OWEN GLENDOWER, who has run well in all three starts in bumpers, winning at Taunton and placed in both starts either side of that win. Dynaste showed respectable form over timber in France and has to be respected on his debut for David Pipe, while Royale's Charter ran promisingly when finding just Barthelemy too good in a Ludlow bumper on his only start in April. Dual Irish point winner Gurtacrue, who also won a bumper at Listowel in June, now makes his debut for Evan Williams and has to be considered as does the ex-French Sablazo, who has his first outing for Andy Turnell.
