In depth

Verdict

Plenty of unknown factors in this, notably the respective fitness of some of the likely market principals. Points winner Forthegreatergood hasn’t really taken to hurdles so far while Italian Summer goes jumping after more than two years off the track. MEEP MEEP MAG made all in a Sedgefield bumper on Boxing Day 2019. Though that form was nothing special, she is built to jump hurdles and could grind out a victory here if fully wound-up. Monete is race-fit having placed twice at Taunton recently and Glimpse Of Gala is another possibility having been far from disgraced in a Grade 2 mares’ bumper at Aintree last month.
