Verdict

A small field goes to post for this novice chase and the principals appear to be Wild Spice, Pure Fun and Three Eagles and we will take a chance on Wild Spice. The gelding from the Venitia Williams yard has been in fair form of late without winning. He would of finished a lot closer in his latest start but for some erratic jumping. In the hope that his jumping will hold together in this smaller field he is taken to score with conditions in his favour. Pure Fun rates the main danger on his best hurdle form but he has become disappointing in that sphere of late and he will need to improve for the switch to fences to score. Three Eagles is a game front runner but he lacks score for this game so for that reason he is opposed and he may set the race for the selection Wild Spice. The remainder need to better their best to trouble the judge.
