In depth

Verdict

Bass Player is creeping closer as he slips down the weights and returns to this longer trip but Larado has only won once on the all-weather in 15 attempts while stablemate United Front continues to struggle. GAVI DI GAVI (NAP) won at Sandown during the summer but has good strike-rate on artificial surfaces, including four wins at this venue, so Alan King’s charge gets the vote. Light Up Our Stars posted one of his better efforts here last week but faces stiffer opposition in this.
