        Verdict

        LYDIA'S PLACE does just enough to win but the four-timer beckons off only a 2lb higher mark having won at York last time. Young John was only fifth at the same track more recently but Sign of The Kodiac finished closer when dropped into a handicap here last time with Dream Dreamer three lengths behind. Kashtan won her maiden here on her latest start but Sunnyside Bob again found one too good in a maiden race at Musselburgh last time. Fashionable Spirit and Sandra's Secret have slipped down the weights but aren't getting any closer.
