An apprentice takes over on Captain Dion as the latter attempts to reverse recent running at Newcastle with JAYWALKER (NAP). But Rebecca Bastiman’s charge should be sharper for that comeback run and is expected to confirm superiority despite a 4lb rise. King Robert is upped 3lb for winning over track and trip last month and beating Fast Track, Ninjago and Gentlemen in the process. He should be thereabouts again as should Dubai One, who bids for hat-trick off a 5lb higher mark having ended last year with a couple of victories over the minimum trip.
