Verdict

Mick Channon's filly Leading Edge has started to show some form and looks good each-way value in this low grade handicap but with his mark untouched after a winning display last time out we side with TODBER ahead of fellow last time out winners Mayoman and Milldown Story. With just three starts this season the selection has progressed nicely and capped that run of improvement with a victory in an apprentices' contest last time. Allowed to turn out under the same rating she has to be liked to score here especially has we can expect some more improvement. Mayoman is up three pounds after just hanging on for victory over course and distance last time. The form isn't bad from that contest and he can still mount a challenge. Milldown Story finally got off the mark with success in a maiden on his first attempt over course and distance on his latest start and looks treated fairly on his first run in these ranks while Charles Darwin also scored on his last run and can go well again under a four pound higher load. For the grade there are plenty of these in form but Todber should be the best treated and has our vote.
