EASTERN GIFT seems to be running into form and he is just taken to land this wide open handicap at the expense of last time out winner Just Jimmy and the consistent Just Timmy Marcus. Although there is a slight doubt over the validity of the picks last run here as the track was running slow it was a continuation of an improving run of form and the step down in trip might help Gay Kelleway's runner hang on this time. Just Jimmy on the other hand did just manage to hang on a score over a longer trip here on his last appearance. While he has won over this distance he is definitely better over further so with an extra few pounds to carry as well we'll just over look him this time. Just Timmy Marcus has been doing his best work late in races recently but hasn't managed to get to the winner but he should run his race again. On a strict form line Dancing Welcome has a chance but under his current load a place might be his best chance so to win it we'll take the improving Eastern Gift.
