    Verdict

GEORGE FENTON bids for a hat-trick off only a 4lb higher mark after scoring at Catterick a week ago. He gets the vote ahead of Slim Chance, a close-up third at Carlisle last month and the main danger to the selection on that form. Orpsie Boy made the frame here on his penultimate start though he never looked like winning and the lightly-raced Nelina may be capable of better. Glenridding won at Thirsk last month but has plenty to find with the selection on latest running.
