In depth

Verdict

A nice little novice event here and we like the look of Orpen Fire, Hilbre Court and King Kenny could be the main rivals. The selection was allowed to go off a t a masive price when winning here on debut, coming from slightly off the pace to stay on well to land the the spoils. The extra distance here should not be a problem and a double looks on the cards. Hilbre Court is also one from one, having gained a similar succes over the mile trip at Lingfield. He, like the selection is open to improvement and should be thereabouts again. King Kenny was a little green on his debut and in the end did well to finish a close up fourth behind Speedy Dollar at Doncaster . He will know more about it this time and looks a threat to all. The best of the rest could be Celtic Strand, but Orpen Fire can put her course experience to good use and she gets our vote.
