Soapy Danger is the confident choice here to beat Genau and Mystic Queen. Mark Johnston has a terrific strike rate this winter and this well bred colt can add to his tally. This expensive son of Danzig made a very pleasing racecourse debut when chasing home Off Message over course and distance. He will benefit from that experience and can go one better this afternoon. Following a couple of promising turf runs, Genau showed much improved form on his all-weather debut. With plenty more to come he could be a major threat. Mystic Queen is from a yard going well and has shown plenty of promise in two decent looking maidens, she could go well at decent odds. However if Soapy Danger is to justify his huge price tag he must land this modest event.
