Raised 5lb for her earlier win at this track, GALA SPIRIT went very close again over C&D last time. A high draw is not ideal here but there's plenty of question marks hanging over today's opponents so she gets the nod. Dashing Eddie is getting closer and may appreciate the drop back in trip, but Little Perisher has done his winning over shorter distances and is suffering a long losing run. The same comment apply to Avonvalley, while Rightcar is yet another with something to prove over today's trip though he did score over 5f here in September.
