        Verdict

Mazij was allowed an easy lead in a lowly handicap here last week and ran out a clear winner. The handicapper has raised her 11lb for that so she'll need to improve again, while Global has gone up in the weights for finishing second here last month. Kames Park is a multiple winner at this track and 4lb lower than when scoring at Kempton early this year, while Boa won a lesser grade contest over C&D in September and can race off a lower mark today with an apprentice taking over the reins. However THE WINGED ASSASIN won twice over shorter trips here last season and, after a spell over hurdles this summer, gets the vote on his return to action.
