    Verdict

PANCAKE DAY has been threatening a return to winning ways. A runner-up over 6f here earlier, he was beaten only a short-head when third over track and trip last time and should go close again. Rat Catcher has something to find with the selection but had earlier finished ahead of Charlie Lad and Steel Rain when second here. Seraphima also went close at the track on her latest outing and is another to consider while Wedgewood Estates could also figure off her current mark.
