    Verdict

Sunglider disappointed back in maiden company last time and patience has run out with him. Pivotman took advantage of a lower mark on Turf to score at Nottingham in October but never figured back on the all-weather while Oregon Gift is back up in distance having returned from an absence with a good effort over a mile here. TAN ARABIQ also ran well when third over track and trip a fortnight ago. The runner-up has won subsequently so the form looks solid and Mike Appleby’s charge gets the vote.
