      Verdict

The betting suggested POINT NORTH would return to form last time and he duly did so when recording a cosy win over track and trip. He remains on a winning mark compared to his best form, despite an 8lb rise, and gets the nod. Valdaw and Climaxfortackle have been in winning form on the Polytrack this year but the handicapper may have caught up with them now while Restless Bay has plenty to find with the selection. Amethyst Dawn and Dark Lane are recent other recent course winners who may figure while Dickie Le Davoir showed signs of a resurgence here last week.
