In depth

Verdict

Very First Blade won at Southwell last time but makes little appeal over this longer trip despite being raised only 3lb. BASLE has been in better form on Turf recently and wasn't beaten far in a higher grade handicap at Chepstow earlier this month. She gets the nod to come out best back on the Polytrack. Spinning Ridge is capable of popping up at this level while both High On The Hog and Kielty's Folly make the frame on a regular basis.
