In depth

Verdict

A dual winner over 1m4f here, GABRIAL THE TERROR handled the step up to 2m with the minimum of fuss to land a hat-trick. Today's intermediate trip should not be a problem for Richard Fahey's charge and he is preferred to Thomas Blossom. The latter continued his good progress with a victory at Lingfield last month and steps up in distance while Sunblazer found only Wakea too good over track and trip last time and makes more appeal than the struggling Bute Hall. Percys Princess has the beating of Echo Brava on collateral form but is 16lb higher than when scoring here in December.
