In depth

Verdict

The Groove has failed to threaten since winning at Lingfield last month while Astrospeed has struggled since landing a double at Kempton early in the year. Seprani found one too good yet again at Lingfield last time while Eponina was successful over a longer trip at Nottingham a fortnight ago but has yet to win in 15 attempts on the all-weather. A multiple winner on Turf, OUR CHARLIE BROWN is another looking for his first win on an artificial surface but this is only his fourth attempt and after placing over track and trip last week, Tim Easterby’s charge may be the one to side with.
