Verdict

Vitelucy, Bretton and Ben Kenobi are all shortlisted in this trappy affair and the vote is given to Bretton. The selection will be suited by the drop in trip after failing to see out the distance when well beaten over 2m at Lingfield last time. He has yet to get his head in front but will not get a better opportunity that this and he looks the one they all have to beat. Vitelucy returns to the flat after a spell over hurdles but all her best form is over further and for that reason she is passed over on this occasion. Ben Kenobi was well beaten in a handicap last time but he will find this much easier and it would be a surprise if he were not able to at least make the frame. Of the remainder, Valiant Air would have chances on his best form but for the winner we return to Bretton.
