In depth

Verdict

Li'l Sebastian was a 25/1 chance on debut on Tapeta at Newcastle but found only one too good and should make a bold bid here. Surf Walk was second on Polytrack at Lingfield having led off the home turn until inside the final furlong will also know more in this but his stable also run FOX’S SOCKS, who was too green to do himself justice when well backed at Warwick in December. The French-bred may have the most scope for improvement. Litigate won at Fakenham in the autumn but couldn’t handle a penalty at Ludlow last month.
