Verdict

It's a worry that both of Miss Ferney's victories this month came over 1m6f on turf and ALTERNATIVE CHOICE is exactly that. He looks a safer option as he's won twice over C&D and the booking of Kieren Fallon suggests a big run is expected here. Green Lightning produced a better effort at this track last week and can figure once again, while Shouda is bred for this longer trip having won over 1m2f at Yarmouth when last seen back in May. Saloon has an each-way shout judged on his recent second over track and trip.
