      Verdict

The likes of Ellens Lad, Marabar and Vision Of Dreams are all well treated if judged by official BHB ratings but combination of poor recent form and lack of experience on the sand suggest that this trio may struggle and preference is for Prima Stella, who gets the verdict over Sharp Hat. The last mentioned, a winner here over seven furlongs in June, won his first race since then when landing a claimer over five furlongs at Catterick earlier this month. The nine-year-old has to be respected, especially now that he has hit form again, but we prefer the claims of Prima Stella. Nick Littmoden's filly, a winner here over course and distance in similar company in April (Sharp Hat behind) almost certainly needed the outing when towards the rear on her first start since last week. Sure to have come on a bundle for that, she looks the safest option. Peter Makin's Blueberry Rhyme has an absence to overcome and, along with Monte Verde, is probably best watched today. While Karl Burke's runners continue to disappoint, a similar comment applies to Mr Sliffy so we are happy to stick with Prima Stella.
