        Verdict

        Western Point gets the vote in this handicap; the list of dangers is headed by Maslak and Magdalene. The selection just found Hurricane Thomas too good at Mussleburgh last time but he is holding his form well and with this drop in trip in his favour he can resume winning ways. Maslak finished sixth behind Elegant Hawk last time but he wasn't beaten all that far and he has gone well here in the past and he is respected. Magdalene beat Magic Show last time and the form was franked on Monday when Magic Show won. Steel Silk tackles this trip for the first time and is another to consider, but Western Point is in good form and he can win again.
