      Verdict

A small field for this handicap, for which a confident vote goes to Silver Elite, who can beat Kanga, Haze Babybear and Fiamma Royale. The selection runs off the same mark of 62 as when breaking her maiden tag at Southwell recently when blinkered for the first time. The hoods are on again here and the four-year-old should be good enough to make it back to back wins against these rivals. Fiamma Royale runs off just 1lb less than the selection, despite being thrashed last time out at Bath. That was hardly ideal preparation, but she does love this course and distance and should be up to fighting out the places. Kanga was a beaten odds-on favourite at Hamilton last time, but has run well here in the past and can try to stretch their stamina from the front, while Haze Babybear ran on well over the minimum trip here last time, comes from an astute yard and is nicely drawn, so could go well. However, none should be up to pipping the selection, Silver Elite.
