        Verdict

        Recent course winner Bobering is bound to be popular with backers but a 6lb rise for that narrow success leaves the seven-year-old with plenty to do and it may pay to look elsewhere with marginal preference for Solicitude, who gets the vote over Deneuve. The selection has been a model of consistency of late and the Derek Haydn Jones-trained filly deserves to get her head in front which she is more than capable of doing off what appears a favourable mark. Show Me The Lolly has claims on the pick of her form but is on a long losing sequence now and she may be booked for a place at best, while Shadow Jumper has been given a chance by the handicapper but has been well held of late and is hard to back with confidence. Miss Glory Be is entitled to strip fitter for her recent reappearance but needs to and a bigger threat is likely to come from recent Kempton scorer Deneuve, although she has more to do here having been raised 5lbs since then. The weights should not a be a problem for Solicitude though and she gets the vote.
