        Verdict

        Magical Wit, Pharaoh's Gold, Loaded Gun, Fraternity and Dane's Gold form the shortlist here, with the vote going to Magical Wit. The lightly-raced Magical Wit has won her last two races, proving far more tractable in an eyeshield. Further improvement seems likely. Pharaoh's Gold won over course and distance last time and should again run his race. Loaded Gun is one pound better off for the length-and-three-quarters he finished behind Pharaoh's Gold that day, and is maybe held on that form, although his stable is in good form. Fraternity has also won his last two, but has been raised accordingly and others are preferred overall, while Warlingham meets Pharaoh's Gold on the same terms for having finished a length behind him in a race referred to earlier. Muqtadi should be sharper for his fair six-furlong Lingfield run last time and today's trip will suit him a lot better, while Dane's Gold was rewarded for some fair efforts with a win at Southwell last time, but a four-pound ratings rise will make things trickier. Once again, then, overall, the vote goes to Magical Wit.
