In depth

Verdict

Doberman turns out quickly after his third here on Monday and still looks well treated. He could go well at a big price, but this is a really tricky affair. B Beautiful was produced late to score at Nottingham in April but has failed to add to that solitary success since, and as a result is not badly weighted for this first taste of the sand. Brighton winner Littleton Zephir should have opened his account here in apprentice company last time but idled in front and was beaten in a photo by Eurolink Artemis. At the revised weights, he is another to consider along with Inspector General, who is actually thrown in on his best turf form. We are going to take a chance on Miss Glory Be, who is from a stable to follow this winter. Gay Kelleway had a winner on Monday with Glory Quest, and his stablemate was fancied when turned over by Fast Track here 11 days ago. A winner at Nottingham in May, the four-year-old should be coming there strongly on the outside to score at the expense of Quiet Reading, weighted to the hilt and there to be shot down with his forcing tactics.
