A wide-open handicap rounds off the card and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Gilded Cove, High Ridge and Summer Recluse and the narrow vote is given to Gilded Cove. The selection won well last time out when beating After The Show and although he has a penalty for that win he still remains well handicapped on his best form and under similar conditions here he is taken to win again. High Ridge rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Fyodor but he is becoming hard to win with and at likely odds he looks worth opposing. Summer Recluse is another worthy of respect on his best form but he is rising in the weights without winning and he looks vulnerable for that reason. Pawan was a fair second in a similar race last time out and is one to note in the market despite top weight while Polar Force is well in on his best form but has looked a shadow of his former self of late and for the winner we return to Gilded Cove who won well last time out.
