Verdict

Fairmorning is the pick in another poor contest, with Final Lap and Lady Lakshmi best of the rest. Fairmorning is a regular visitor here so at least knows the track and has claims on his second to Nakwa in January. He is yet to open his account anywhere but this is so weak that today can finally be his day. Final Lap was successful on the Flat for Willie Jarvis four years ago but has since under achieved both on the level and over hurdles. His latest third behind Mrs Cube here was encouraging though and he is worth a second look. Lady Lakshmi will probably need the run, having been absent since October and it remains to be seen how she will handle the fibresand. Therefore, the safest option is to stick with the tried and trusted Fairmorning.
