        Verdict

        CAPTAIN RYAN has been exploiting a slide down the handicap and defied a penalty last time to complete a course and distance double. Storm Lightning, Shesthedream and Barnsdale have already fallen victim to Geoff Deacon’s charge and the hat-trick beckons. Pranceabootthetoon finished closer at Lingfield last week as he looks for his first win on the all-weather while Amazing Amaya went close at Newcastle in August and should be sharper for a recent comeback run at the same track.
