        Verdict

        GABRIAL THE SAINT suffered a couple of narrow-margin defeats last month, including a neck defeat in the Ayr Silver Cup last time. A repeat effort can see Richard Fahey’s charge go one better. Dizzy G ran well in the Ayr Bronze Cup on her latest start but this is tougher and Power Link is preferred on a recent second here when finishing in front of Reflektor, Moonraker and Watchable. El Hombre struggled in the Stewards’ Cup at Goodwood but better is expected back on the all-weather today and he makes more appeal than both Last Page and Baby Steps.
