APACHE NATION is taken to land the nightcap at the main expense of Red Tarn and Fort Amhurst. The selection won well last time at Ayr when he gave the impression that he could be one to stay on the right side of. This is his first try on this surface but if he handles it then he should prove hard to beat. Red Tarn could be of interest on his handicap debut and he ran well enough in a maiden here last time. Fort Amhurst finished just ahead of Alfie Tupper last time so if he goes well in the previous race then that would give the form a boost. Machinate has gone well here in the past but he seems to have gone off the boil and we will stick with Apache Nation as the pick.
