This appears to be quite a strong maiden for the track and we will side with Don Pasquale, with Heat Of The Night and Starcross Maid two live dangers . David Loder's colt took part in a very hot maiden at Lingfield back in October won by Sir Michael Stoute's Kings Majesty. The selection finished fifth just behind horses trained by Saeed Bin Suroor, Roger Charlton and Gerard Butler. That was avery promising first effort and with the yard in such good form he is a confident choice. Heat Of The Night ran a blinder on this course back in November when chasing home Forgery, this slightly longer trip should suit and he looks the main threat to the selection. Starcross Maid improved on her debut effort to finish third to Blue Bajan over course and distance and looks booked for a place again. Brockhole is interesting newcomer and should be monitored in the betting, but for the winner we return to Don Pasquale.
