In depth

Verdict

No recent winning form to go on and a purely speculative vote goes to LACONICOS. He's been threatening to get his head back in front of late, including when a close-up third over C&D last month. Locum looks to have dropped to a winning mark judged on his recent second at Yarmouth, while Dane Cottage and Alhaque were both placed on their latest starts. Aureate had Alternative Choice behind when fourth here recently and should confirm that running.
