    Verdict

Conny Nobel is the tentative pick ahead of Global Traffic and Pennyrock. The selection has shaped as if needing a bit of time and having had three runs under his belt, a mark of 68 might not be too harsh given the promise shown on his latest start. Global Traffic has to be respected as a recent winner. Life will not be easy on this occasion from a fiendishly high draw. Neil Callan is riding well at the moment so Pennyrock is watched in the market. There were clearly one or two problems on his last turf outing and it could be that time off was a sensible call from coninections. Jocheski was not disgraced behind good thing Salford Mill but the handicapper saw that performance as well. John Gosden castoff, Strike Force, should not be too far away while Beau Sancy's chances would be helped greatly if she consents to set off on terms with her rivals. A trappy affair but at the likely odds, Conny Nobel is worth a speculative punt.
