Able Mind has been very consistent and can pay to follow here, with Gallego, Western Roots and New England all seen as dangers. Able Mind has been confined to a mile over the past month or so, running some nice races, but is equally adept over today's trip, and judged on his latest narrow defeat at Pontefract, is ready for the step back up in trip. He goes well at this time of the year, and is nicely handicapped at present, so has more going for him than most here. Gallego is a past course-and-distance winner, and was narrowly denied at Bath last time. The return to the Polytrack should see him run a big race as well. Western Roots is gradually finding his form but is opposeable, while New England, yet another with past course form, bids to bounce back after his defeat here 12 days ago. He did well to overcome traffic problems at Chester the time before, and is dangerous to rule out. All in all, Able Mind looks the one to be on with a good draw in stall two to help.
