        Verdict

        Bernie's Boy looks sure to go well again having won twice over 6f this year and beating Lucky Lodge and Prazeres in the process. But MUHAJJAL scored at Lingfield before finishing runner-up over track and trip and he get the nod in his current form with an apprentice’s allowance further helping his cause. Compass Hill was beaten less than a length when third over course and distance and is preferred to Critical Thinking, a runner-up over a longer trip here recently, while better is expected from the unexposed Cobalty Isle now handicapping having failed to act on the Fibresand on last month’s reappearance.
