In depth

Verdict

Highland Song, Ela Aleka Mou and Baytown Paikea are three against the field in this poor seller and the narrow vote is given to Ela Aleka Mou. The selection has the highest bhb ratings of these rivals and was fifth behind Satyricon last time out, this looks easier and as he should be race fit now he looks the value bet in a desperate affair. Highland Song rates the main danger on his latest second behind Savile's Delight this represents a drop in class and he will not be far away. Baytown Paikea hails from a yard in form and is sure to strip fitter for her latest start but her overall profile leaves her with a little to find with the principals. The Carpet Man has had plenty of chances without taking one while Geordie Dancer looks outclassed and for the winner we return to a Aleka Mou to small stakes.
