Verdict

It's hardly surprising that Jim Boyle is striking while the iron is hot with MUSH MIR, who was engaged to run at Southwell yesterday and has several entries during the week. The three-year-old demolished his rivals at Lingfield a week ago and, though the stoutly-bred gelding won't be allowed the soft lead he had on that occasion, he looks worthy of the vote here. Lucy Barry excelled on The Winged Assasin over the C&D 10 days ago and her mount is only 3lb higher. Star Links has been raised the same amount after scoring over the C&D and can be forgiven a moderate effort at Dundalk last week. Dream Of Fortune has won seven times on the surface and is running well enough to make an impact, while John Veale landed a four-runner contest over 7f here on Saturday for which he is penalised.
