In depth

Verdict

INSOMNITAS is the tentative suggestion ahead of Rebel Woman and Royal Keva. The selection is one of five Irish raiders to take their chance in this contest and it will be interesting to see what the market makes of their chances. Insomnitas ran well at the track last time when finishing fairly well after a slow start to take third and he may be able to make the frame again if he can build on that run. Rebel Woman has questions to answer at this trip given the way that she weakened at Kempton over a mile last time but she had stayed on quite well over the same course and distance prior to that and may be worth another chance. Royal Keva is tried in blinkers and he won't need to improve too much on his latest outing to have a say in the outcome of this contest. Tabaahi has his first run for Gordon Elliott and it will be well worth checking the market to see if there's any confidence behind him but the suggestion is Insomnitas.
