        Verdict

        This modest affair could fall to Annambo, with Snake Hips and Bridgewater Boys put forward as the main dangers. The Stuart Williams trained gelding is not the force of old, but still managed to win a handicap at Newbury back in June. He drops to selling company for the first time and will prove hard to beat. Snake Hips is the only three-year-old in the contest and is suited by the race conditions. He recieves plenty of weight from the selection and will be a tough nut to crack. Bridgewater Boys is proving hard to win with but has obvious ability and cannot easily be discounted in this grade. The City Kid is another with place claims, but our idea of the winner is Annambo.
