Verdict

Sylvia Pankhurst appears in good form and Thomas Brown's 5lb claim is a big plus. David Griffiths' filly should be thereabouts again in this, though is closely matched with Indian Affair on their run together over course and distance last month. Gift Of Music still has some scope but Nellie Bly has become disappointing and Hazard Warning may be in the assessor's grip now. MACAABRA only won by a short-head at Catterick so the handicapper hasn't been overly harsh on James Tate's filly and she is bred to be much better than she's shown so far - another victory beckons.
