Verdict

MOJEERR is narrowly preferred here to Imperial Skylight, Ride A White Swan and Josiah Bartlett. Alan McCabe's Royal Applause gelding ran well in defeat last time out at the track, filling third spot behind Lyrical Intent. That form reads ok in the context of this race and he can gain his first win at the 14th attempt. Dhhamaan is well-handicapped if able to show some of his old sparkle, Montmartre and Imperial Skylight are held by Josiah Bartlett on their run behind Copper King at Kempton, whilst Neil Callan looks a good jockey booking for the relatively in-form Ride A White Swan. Several of these have also clashed recently behind Albero Di Giuda, of which Berrymead fared best and she looks fairly handicapped at present as well. Money for Leo's Lucky Angel would have to be taken seriously in such a weak race, but the most tentative of nods is given to Mojeerr.
