        Verdict

        Another front runner who may be hard to catch is Killing Me Softly and he is fancied to confirm recent form with Platinum Chief, Jakarami and Brother Cadfael today. Not many of the rest make any real appeal against the unexposed selection so Secret Bloom is only a token choice to fill the forecast position. However, he missed the break in the first time visor last time and will do well to figure prominently if that is the case again today. He is going the right way for one of these races though and he could make a race of it if he stays awake in the stalls. But he may find Killing Me Softly, who was not given a hard time when he recorded his course and distance success on New Year's Eve, too progressive a rival and the mount of Neil Calan is taken to strike whilst his confidence is still on a high.
