    Verdict

One of the better race son the card can go to the consistent Acceleration ahead of topweight Digger and the nearly horse Claptrap. Acceleration finally opened his account when stepped up in trip at Carlisle after a number of placed efforts. The stiff finish brought his stamina into play and although this is not as gruelling, he will still appreciate the two miles. Not badly treated, he can make the most of the weight that he receives from Digger, who himself is still fairly well-weighted after two good efforts in amateur company. With Lee Enstone taking off five pounds, he can give the selection most to do. Claptrap always finds one or two too good, but is sure to be running on. He has never raced over two miles though and for that reason cannot be a confident alternative. Take Acceleration to follow up.
