In depth

Verdict

The three-year-old Navarra Princess has been handed a 9lb rise after an easy victory at Kempton and this looks much tougher. Llamrei has yet to win in 15 starts but ran quite well when third here last month while Compton Abbey, a winner at Kempton in March, has changed stables after a moderate run at Lingfield. Royal Connoisseur has won six times on Turf but never on the all-weather so this can go to DEEDS NOT WORDS, who completed a hat-trick last summer and looked on the way back in a better race at Newbury last time. Seebring won here in October and looked ready to hit the winning trail again when runner-up at Nottingham last month so looks the main threat.
