        Verdict

        Grandscape won this last year under Sophie Smith though he’d had a run under his belt on that occasion and THE RESDEV WAY is preferred today. Becky Smith partnered the latter to victory at Lingfield in January and he’s back in an amateurs race for the first time since. Donya also won at Lingfield earlier in the year and is preferred to Merweb but it’s been a while since Percy Prosecco and Brodie Hampson last won one of these events.
