In depth

Verdict

Ninth House is preferred to Sawwaah and Capania. Nick Littmoden hasn't enjoyed the best of seasons but his horses are running a little better than they were and the five-year-old could have been found an appropriate opportunity this evening. A reproduction of that October second to Councellor would prove too good here. Sawwaah is an admirable sort at this level. Tom Dascombe's team are running well but there is the small matter of a long absence to overcome. Capania has fewer miles on the clock than most and did not run at all badly on her most recent start. She is in receipt in weight and is worth a look in the market. Hold up performer, Daring Affair has ability although winning has proved difficult. Intersky Sports is returned to the level after two inauspicious outings over hurdles. The market should tell us plenty and Ninth House looks capable of getting back to winning ways.
